In VECTOR BLUE HUB we support our customers in certification of their electronic devices as this process is crucial for many reasons. The most important is to ensure that the quality of the designed product complies with international standards and necessary safety regulations. The type of certificate required for introduction into the market varies depending on the country of its origin and the importing country.
Validation, Qualification & Regulatory
The following certificates are required for electronic products: CE, FCC, RoHS, UL and WEEE. FCC and UL certificates apply to products manufactured and used in the US, while the others apply to Europe.
The CE (Conformité Européenne) marking is required for specific product categories that are produced and/or sold within the European Economic Area (EEA). This area consists of 27 Member States of the European Union as well as the United Kingdom, Iceland, Norway, Lichtenstein, Turkey and Switzerland.
While designing electronic devices or preparing them for production, we recommend standards that the product should comply with to be authorised for use in specific conditions.
Our laboratories can perform some of the measurements. And at the customer's request, we can conduct an inspection in a certification centre of their choice.
